CD contains 4 fully calibrated raster maps ready to run with OziExplorer and TrackRanger GPS mapping software. Compatible with most common GPS units including Garmin, Lowrance, Eagle and MagellanAustralia's.

Outback Tracks provides coverage from approximately Broome in the north west to Normanton, south past Broken Hill and back to Norseman in the south west.

The maps are produced in OZF2 format especially for people who already have the full operating version of OziExplorer. They have also been produced in the ECW format for use in the TrackRanger system.

A free demonstration version of TrackRanger software is included on the CD for people who haven't yet invested in a mapping software program, but have a computer and want to have a look at what is available and how it all works. This version will not connect to a GPS, but does show the information the maps contain.
The maps have been totally designed with the user in mind. This means they are not simply scanned images of existing paper maps, but have been especially compiled for use with a computer and GPS. Cover panels, legends and borders have all been removed, ensuring the user receives a pure map with nothing obscuring their intended travel route.
